Forgotten Lives School Day
November 4th, 9 AM until Noon
On this day get a glimpse the life of the African American enslaved persons lived who worked at Oakley Plantation harvesting crops.  We take a trip to the slave quarter and learn about the lives and the work of slaves who lived at Historic Oakley Plantation.  Bake hoecakes in the open hearth, dip a candle and practice a period craft.  Preregistration is required and limit to 150.

Deck the Halls!
November 26th, 10 AM until 3 PM
Help us celebrate the holiday season and decorate historic Oakley House in period greens. Make your mark when you adopt a mantle next weekends Civil War Christmas program.
